OUR DELIVERY POLICY

This website and online shop is operated by Gweilo Beer (UK) Limited (“Gweilo”). Fulfillment of any orders placed on this website are fulfilled by Brew York Limited (“Brew York”). References herein to “we”, “us”, “our” shall be references to both Gweilo and Brew York on a joint and several basis.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER?

As soon as you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email from our website and you will receive another email from Brew York or their courier partner when it has been dispatched. Please note that the tracking number included on this dispatch email may take a few hours to show in the courier’s system so don’t worry if it doesn't show you the details of delivery immediately.

All goods require a signature from an adult who is over the age of 18. We will not deliver alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. By clicking 'I confirm I am at least 18 years of age' during the checkout process, you are confirming that you are at least the legal age to purchase alcohol in your country of residence. 

We use UK Mail/DHL to ship all items from our website, this applies to all orders within Mainland UK. Standard delivery usually takes 2-5 working days, although we endeavor to deliver earlier than this where possible. 

We aim to process orders the same or next working day, however, please allow up to 3 working days for your order to be processed.  During very busy times orders may take up to 7 working days to arrive.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

You must be aged 18 or older to buy alcohol. By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are aged 18 or older. It is an offence to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in the UK.

If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient must also be aged 18 or older.

Deliveries must be signed for by a person aged 18 or older. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.

ORDERS

If the can(s) you have ordered are not available we will contact you to either swap the product for another or for issue a refund.

If you’ve ordered an item that is on Pre-Order, please note the dispatch date is a target and this may be subject to change. If there are any delays to pre-order products being shipped, we will contact you to give an updated delivery estimate.

DELIVERY COSTS AND TIMES

Orders must be received by 9am Monday-Thursday to be processed the same working day, any orders placed after this time will be processed on the next working day, this also applies to Bank Holidays. On Bank Holidays any items ordered will be processed the first working day after the Bank Holidays.
Please bear this in mind with our delivery days.

Delivery costs vary depending on quantities and items ordered.

Costs for shipping:

Remote locations (the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland) may have additional shipping costs and longer delivery times. 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Unfortunately we are not able to ship our beers internationally.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

When the order is dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email with a tracking number and courier.

WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF MY BEERS IS MISSING OR DAMAGED?

We take a lot of precautionary measures to make sure that none of your cans are damaged in transit to you. Sometimes items can be damaged in transit despite all of these measures. This is something we work hard to try and avoid, we hate to see good beer wasted! If your item does not arrive within a reasonable time please contact the courier if you have a tracking number. Please bear in mind that couriers are very busy at certain times of year so your item may be delayed in transit. In the very unlikely event that you do receive damaged items then please contact us directly so we can track down your package or replace any items with damaged contents.
